General notice for procurement : Additional Financing for the Electric Interconnection Project in 225 Kv Guinea-mali (fa-piegm-guinee)
the Main Objectives of the Project Are as Follows: the Additional Funding Will Increase Access to Electricity in Guinea and Support the Viability of the Sector. It Will Support the Achievement of the Initial Project Objectives and Ensure the Sustainability of the Results. in Addition to the Activities of the Initial Project, the Additional Funding Provides for Results in Terms of Effects and Products: (i) Access to Electricity for 37,500 Beneficiaries Through Connections to Compensate for the Reduction in the Number of Connections Made at the Time of the Contract Award Under the Initial Project; and on the Other Hand, Contribute to Meeting the Additional Needs Expressed By the Country; (ii) the Construction of 8 Medium Voltage Departures at the Htb/hta Substations Currently Under Construction, to Facilitate Rural Electrification; (iii) Support for the Operationalization of the Electricity and Water Regulatory Authority (aree); (iv) the Establishment of a Geographic Information System (gis) Including a Customer Database, Usable By Edg and Aree; (v) Capacity Building in Planning for the Studies and Planning Department of Edg, the Dgip-gis, and the Ministry of Energy; (vi) Training on Electricity Markets for the Benefit of Edg and Aree Staff. |
